TOORZI – TOUR MATE TERMS & CONDITIONS

1Purpose of the Tour Mate Feature

The Tour Mate feature is designed to:

• Enable travelers to discover and connect with other users
• Facilitate shared travel planning and companionship
• Help users reduce costs and enhance travel experiences

Toorzi acts only as a technology platform facilitating introductions between users.

2Eligibility

To use the Tour Mate feature, the User must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Have a verified Toorzi account
• Provide accurate and truthful information
• Agree to comply with all applicable laws and platform policies

Toorzi reserves the right to restrict access to users who do not meet eligibility criteria.

3Nature of Relationship Between Users

3.1 Toorzi does not create, manage, or control relationships between tour mates.

3.2 Users understand and agree that:

• Tour mates are independent individuals
• Any interaction, arrangement, or travel decision is made solely at the User’s discretion
• Toorzi is not responsible for personal conduct, compatibility, or outcomes arising from user interactions.

4Matching & Compatibility

4.1 Tour Mate matches are generated based on:

• Destination
• Travel dates
• Budget range
• Preferences selected by the User

4.2 Matches are suggestions only and do not guarantee:

• Compatibility
• Safety
• Availability
• Similar expectations

Final decisions remain entirely with the User.

5Communication & Privacy

5.1 Communication between tour mates must occur only through Toorzi’s in-app chat system.

5.2 Users agree:

• Not to share personal contact details prematurely
• Not to misuse or store other users’ personal data
• To respect privacy and boundaries

Toorzi may monitor communications only for safety, moderation, and legal compliance.

6Booking & Financial Arrangements

6.1 Users may choose to:

• Book travel services individually, or
• Participate in shared planning or cost-sharing

6.2 Toorzi:

• Does not manage or guarantee cost-sharing arrangements
• Is not responsible for disputes related to money shared between users

All bookings on Toorzi remain subject to applicable cancellation and refund policies.

7User Conduct & Code of Behaviour

Users agree to:

• Act respectfully and lawfully
• Avoid harassment, abuse, discrimination, or coercion
• Not engage in inappropriate, unsafe, or illegal behavior
• Follow all local laws during travel

Toorzi maintains a zero-tolerance policy for misconduct.

9Reporting & Blocking

9.1 Users may report inappropriate behavior and block other users at any time.

9.2 Toorzi may:

• Investigate complaints
• Suspend or terminate accounts
• Share information with law enforcement if legally required

10Prohibited Activities

Users shall not:

• Use the Tour Mate feature for dating, solicitation, or commercial purposes
• Impersonate others or use fake identities
• Harass, threaten, or exploit other users
• Attempt to bypass Toorzi safeguards

Violation may result in immediate suspension or permanent ban.

11Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Toorzi shall not be liable for user actions or omissions
• Toorzi shall not be responsible for losses, damages, or disputes arising from tour mate interactions
• Toorzi provides the feature on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis

12Indemnity

The User agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Toorzi from:

• Claims arising from user interactions
• Violations of these Tour Mate Terms
• Personal injuries, losses, or damages caused by the User

13Suspension & Termination

Toorzi may suspend or terminate access to the Tour Mate feature if:

• Safety concerns arise
• False information is provided
• Policy violations are detected
• Legal compliance requires such action

14Data Protection

Toorzi processes personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws. Users consent to limited data processing for:

• Matching
• Safety moderation
• Platform improvement

15Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Tour Mate Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Courts located at Barrackpore / Kolkata, West Bengal, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

16Amendments

Toorzi reserves the right to modify these Tour Mate Terms at any time. Continued use of the Tour Mate feature constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
